I don’t have an alarm system, or I already have one — how easy is it to integrate with Remote Security monitoring, and how long does it take?

- No existing alarm system:
We can provide recommendations based on current market options after a full site assessment. Please note we do not install alarms or take responsibility for recommended systems — our service focuses on the monitoring station, which remains the property of Remote Security. - Existing alarm system:
Our monitoring station (using the Remote Security 4G communicator) can connect to most alarm systems. Installation must be done by a third-party approved installer. Some setups may only need a nearby plug-in, while others may require an external antenna for signal. - Setup time:
Once installed, the system is typically up and running immediately, depending on the configuration. Most setups are live within 1–2 days from installation and configuration. - Remote monitoring:
After the initial site visit, most systems can be monitored and managed remotely. Texecom alarms can be added via our installer account, with monitoring configured accordingly. Additional charges may apply for integrating third-party systems.
This ensures your site is reliably monitored while giving you the flexibility to use existing alarm hardware or choose a new solution.
